How to get loot of conquest in Destiny 2 (and what to buy) (2023)

In this guide, we'll go over what conquest loot is, what you can do with it, and of course, how to farm it.

What are the spoils of conquest?

Loot of Conquest is a currency in Destiny 2 that can only be earned by completing raids. You can store up to 240 loot in your inventory and use it to purchase various raid loot.

Where to spend conquest loot

The first place you can use conquest loot is at the end of some raids. The Deep Stone Crypt, Glass Vault, Vow of the Disciple, and King's Fall raids all have loot caches that allow you to purchase specific loot from their respective raids.

Vendors in the Deep Stone Crypt and Vault of Glass also allow you to purchase an additional encounter chest, giving you a chance to get some loot you missed. These cost 60 Conquest Loot and are a great way to unlock weapons and armor for purchase. The student's wedding does not have this feature.

How to get loot of conquest in Destiny 2

Getting the loot of conquest is relatively simple: just play your favorite raid. Each raid will grant you a certain amount of loot; however, newer activities tend to decline more. Here's a list of the various ways you can get conquest loot currently:

How many conquest loot per raid?

You can expect up to 30 loot of conquest by completing the Apprentice's Oath or Vault of Glass and finding all hidden chests. Due to the large number of encounters, King's Fall can reward you with up to 35 loot.

Nightmare Root:

• Donation for encounters with the Root of NightmarescincoThe spoils of conquest.You can do it indefinitely.
• Donation for Root of Nightmares secret chestscincoThe spoils of conquest. They only drop loot once per character per week.

King's Fall:

• King's Fall Scholarship MeetingscincoThe spoils of conquest.You can do it indefinitely.

Student Pledge:

While it's okay to passively loot using these methods, there are several ways to earn money; we'll talk about that in the next section.

Conquest Farm Loot

To optimally utilize your loot of conquest, you will need to complete the Templar encounter in the Vault of Glass raid multiple times. This farm is not only short and easy: you also earn the maximum amount of loot per encounter (five). To do this effectively, you'll want to:

1. Capture the checkpoint to meet up with the Templars.
2. Have your team join you in a raid, switch to the other character, and then join your team in a raid (this method allows you to complete the encounter while saving a checkpoint to clear later!).
3. Finish the encounter by defeating the Templar.
4. Go back to your first character.
5. Repeat steps 2-4.

To complement this method, you can also collect Conquest Loot solo each week.

Loot for conquering a solo farm

You can quickly earn more than 15 conquest loots per week alone. To do this, loot the first secret chest in The Apprentice's Vow, which is easy to get with all three characters per week.
